Cara Barnes

Excalibur Drive
After living in Americus for 20 years, Cara moved to Macon and has been a resident of LWW since 2002. Cara has been an active member and volunteer for the LWW Association. Cara is the current chairperson of the Neighborhood Watch Committee and has chaired this committee since 2006. As chair of the LWW Neighborhood Watch Committee, she organized the following events: National Night Out Against Crime; Kids Fun and Safety Day; Citizen Patrol Groups; and Recognizing Drug and Gang Activity. Other LWW activities that Cara has been involved with include LWW Bird Watchers Group, Christmas on the Lake, Wild Walkers, Emergency Management, Elections, Haunted House, Beastly Beauty Pageant, and Community Yard and Arts/Craft Sale. Through her activities and accomplishments for the members of LWW, Cara has learned a great deal about our community and how it operates. Cara has listened to members concerns, complaints, ideas, and goals for our community. Cara strives to be fair and balanced.

Norman Brown

N. Confederate Drive
Norman has been an active member since moving into Lake Wildwood community in November 2006. Norman served as Chair of the Election Committee, a member of the 2008 Focus Group—Management Team/General Manager Search, and moderated the Neighborhood Stabilization meetings, as well as, many other townhall meetings. In addition, Norman has worked as a volunteer for many LWW events and projects. Before moving to LWW, Norman served as Past President and Treasurer of the Raintree Home Owner Association of Fairfax, VA. Beyond Norman’s experience gained as a leader in another HOA, he has 30+ years experience in administrative management. Norman wants to be a contributor in making LWW a community where quality of life and safety for all residents is the mission of the Association.

Wes Patton

Greentree Parkway
Wes has been a member of the association since 1993. He has B.A. degree in Political Science, and two years work toward a Masters of Theology. As a member, Wes has actively served on numerous committees and as a past member of the Board of Directors. He has been employed by the Department of Defense, (Army and Air Force), for the past 34 years. He’s also currently active with the Macon-Bibb County Emergency Management Agency, and is a licensed HAM radio operator. Wes has supported this community in various capacities that include Chairperson of the Security and Emergency Management Committees, Board advisor to Elections, Campground, and the Focus Group for selecting the Management Team. Wes’s motivation to serve our community include increased public awareness of the positive aspects of LWW, establishing a viable and responsive emergency management program, orchestrating a formal training program for those serving on the Board and as Committee Chairpersons, and decreasing our yearly dues through practical application of fees-for-services and collection of fines from habitual offenders.
